My vision, my art, my life.....

I believe my art should be approachable and honest—inviting you to pause, reflect, and maybe see something familiar in a new light. Every brushstroke is a chance to capture a feeling, a memory, or a moment of wonder. Every painting I create is rooted in a desire to connect with you and the world we share.

My process is hands-on and reflective, shaped by years of exploring landscapes, stories, and quiet moments. Whether I’m in the studio or sharing my work, I aim for clarity and depth—always inviting you to find your own meaning in each piece. My work sparks connection, conversation, and a sense of discovery

Painting, for me, is a way of noticing, of staying connected, and of sharing the beauty held in a moment preserved.

RIVERSCAPES

Riverscapes

Rivers have a quiet pull for me. I return to them again and again in my work—not to paint them literally, but to explore their movement, depth, and stillness. There’s something about the way a river holds both flow and reflection that I find inspiring.

In these paintings, I’m thinking about passage and presence-how water carries time, how it shapes the land, and how we’re shaped by what we move through. The process of painting riverscapes feels meditative, and I hope that sense of calm and continuity comes through when the work is shared.

Abstract

Landscapes

Abstract Landscapes

My abstract landscapes grow out of time spent in nature—walking, looking, being still. I’m not trying to capture a specific place, but to respond to the rhythm, color, and energy I experience in the land. These paintings are shaped by memory as much as by observation. I’m drawn to the harmony and tension in natural forms, the way light shifts, and how space can feel vast or intimate.

For me, the experience of the work isn’t complete until it’s shared. I hope that you feel something familiar in the abstraction—something open, alive, and connected.

Botanicals

Botanicals

I am drawn to painting botanicals —especially nopales, maguey, and flowering plants. I don’t approach them as still life or scientific study, but more as a way to pay attention.

These forms hold so much life, structure, and mystery. I’m interested in how they grow, how they endure, and how they carry memory. Painting them is a way of staying close to the natural world, of observing its quiet intelligence and resilience.

Still Life

Still Life

I paint fruit because it grounds me. These still life paintings are simple, quiet observations—moments of color, shape, and light that ask to be noticed. There’s something intimate about spending time with an everyday object and seeing it freshly.

I’m drawn to the natural geometry of fruit—the softness, the skin, the weight of it. In painting them, I’m not aiming for perfection but presence—something felt and real, like a breath or a passing thought.
